A Few Words

About Us

After overcoming opiate addiction and spending a year in recovery, S.P.A.R.C. Recovery begain at a small kitchen table in Russell Springs. Very soon after I became sober, I decided that I wanted to work in recovery and with those who were battling with addiction.

Working in recovery has a unique benefit: on the one hand, it enables us to assist people who are struggling with addiction; on the other hand, it ensures that we remain accountable for our sobriety and recovery. One of my goals has been to help those who were helpless, help them regain their self-worth and purpose in life, while providing them with the resources necessary to achieve and maintain recovery.

Why Choose Us

Recovery is not the end of the journey - it's the beginning of a new life of hope, opportunity, and purpose.

At SPARC Recovery, we believe true healing means more than overcoming addiction — it means restoring purpose and building a future. We provide a full continuum of care for individuals facing substance use disorder and mental health challenges, offering both residential and outpatient treatment options tailored to each person’s needs.

Our CARF-accredited programs are led by an experienced multidisciplinary team of clinical professionals, medical staff, case managers, and peer-support specialists who walk alongside clients every step of the way. With evidence-based treatment, compassion, and accountability, we address the whole person — mind, body, and spirit.

Beyond treatment, SPARC equips individuals with the skills and opportunities to thrive. Through vocational training, workforce reentry programs, and Individual Placement Support, we prepare clients to enter the job market with confidence, connect with employers, and rebuild their lives with dignity and stability.

Peer Support Specialist

Lived experience paired with personal support to aid individuals through their recovery.

At SPARC, our Peer Support Services connect clients with trained specialists who have lived experience in recovery. These peer mentors walk alongside individuals, offering encouragement, accountability, and practical guidance from someone who has faced similar challenges. By sharing hope, tools, and real-world strategies, peer support creates a bridge of trust and understanding that complements clinical treatment. Whether it’s navigating early recovery, building healthy routines, or taking the first steps toward employment, our peer support team helps clients see that lasting change is not only possible — it’s within reach.
